May 28, 2003 - To our fans,

Well, it's been a crazy ride. Tonight, about a week shy of our two-year anniversary as a band, we've decided to call it quits. With each of us taking different directions, we decided it didn't make sense to continue as a band. The concert on Thursday at Logan's Pub will likely be our last concert ever. Thank you for all of the support you have shown us over these past two years, we really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Matt, Jay, Dave and Ryan
The Moonshine Revellers

May 12, 2003 - This bout of nice weather we've had has been very inspirational as far as the creative juices go. We've been working on quite a few new songs. Come see us perform a couple of them along with our older stuff at Steamers on May 15. Crash The Net are opening the show. Doors at 9, cover is $5.

April 14, 2003 - For our fans keepin' it real on the Lower Mainland, our album is now available for sale at Red Cat Records in Vancouver. Also, we've posted the lyrics to a few more of Jay's songs on the music page. Now you can sing along to Like A Virgin To A Whore, Thought Of Another Year and Peddling Rose.

April 2, 2003 - The Moonshine Revellers are back in action! Did you miss us? Fear not, we're playing at Lucky Bar on April 7 with Jeff Wall and Dan Politano. Doors open at 8pm and cover is $5. Join us, won't you?

February 20, 2003 - Jay has gone adventuring in Thailand, so the band is on hiatus until he returns in mid-March. In the meantime, you can listen to two tracks from our new CD in the music section. If you like what you hear, the CD is for sale online at CD Baby, the best place to find new independant music. As if that wasn't enough to tide you over, the other three members of the band will be playing at the Johnny Cash tribute at Thursdays Pub on Tuesday, February 25. Cover is $5, doors are at 9pm.

January 7, 2003 - Happy New Year everyone! We've got two gigs coming up this weekend. The first is on Thursday at Steamers, the second is on Friday at The Cambie in Nanaimo. More info here. Our debut album is now available for sale in Ditch Records and Lyle's Place.
